The NCF is proud to donate to Independent Living Association. For nearly 30 years, the Independent Living Association, Inc.
(ILA) has been providing exemplary residential care for adults who are intellectually challenged or developmentally disabled.
When it opened its doors in 1984 under the direction of the late John P. Welch, ILA created a residential haven for people whose only other means of long-term care meant placements in large institutions. Mr. Welch’s credo was, “ILA will be their home for the rest of their lives.”
